Ivie started sobbing.

O.o Uh oh.....

Manfred started to panic. How do you turn her off? Is there some sort of magic word? Something?

"Shut up, Rowan, be quiet!" Manfred hissed. "Um, um, okay, okay. You're not um, um...you're not hard to take care of! I only said that because I thought you would like to hear you're a challenge. Um, please don't cry! Damn....." he added under his breath.

She cried harder.

Manfred watched Ivie helplessly.

"I don't think you're hard to handle. I think you have a unique personaility which makes taking care of you more...fun." he said slowly.

Ivie looked up.
"Really?"

Bingo.

"Yes! Really! You're a challenge, but I like challenges because they never bore me. You're fun." Manfred said, trying to make his tone light. The words felt odd for his tongue, but it was better to do this than to watch helplessly.

Ivie smiled.
"You think I'm fun to look after?"

"The funnest. Just as long as you don't hug me. I have, um, surgery on my appendix and it hurts...." It was a lie, but she didn't have to know.

"But funnest isn't a word," she said grinnning.

"It is in my dictionary." Manfred said.

"Oh... alright..." said Ivie with a sigh. "Do you wanna hear me play guitar?"

Manfred frowned. "Will you be satisfied if I did?"

"Yes!"

Manfred sighed. He was hoping that he could sit this one out but there was no escape. "Fine. Let's hear it."

Ivie happily pulled out her guitar.

Manfred clapped politely, glancing around. "Um, that was really good. No...no wonder you're in the, uh..." He glanced at Ivie's cape. "Music department."

Ivie blushed.
"Thanks, can I do anotehr one?"

No, no, no! Manfred thought.

"Sure."

Ivie sang Dreams dont trn to dust by owl city.

I thought she was going to play her guitar.... Manfred thought.

"Beautiful, as always Rowan...." Manfred heard himself force out in a strained voice. He attempted a smile but it faltered. He probably looked idiotic and covered the akwardness up with a forced laugh.

((Yes yes I'm too smart to fool arent I? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD))

"Thank you, so now what?"

Manfred sighed. "Go to class."

"yes, sir," Ivie ran off to class.

((NOw what? XD))

((Uhhh....I have no idea. Maybe trying to get Sere's bracelet off, or at least attempting? I dunno))
