Manfred growled, he found it ridiculas that a little girl was actually getting the best of him

"The Tilpins,"

Seraphyna frowned. Didn't Ivie say something about Joshua? How they looked so similar. She wondered...

"Tell me about the Tilpins." Seraphyna said. "Why has the Tilpins caught her attention? You have something to hide else why would you hypnotize her? Surely it isn't worht the effort if you have nothing to hide."

"They have a history with Miss Tilp--Rowan's familly, are you done yet?"

Seraphyna was silent. Then she glanced back at the other girls, who were silently watching. She raised the pH to normal and the air was once stable again.

She left Manfred behind her, stepped past the other girls, and left the office.

Manny muttered something I'm not gonna repeat.


Ivie mumbled something and woke up.
"Oh hi, Manfred."

Manfred gave Ivie a look, but then he controlled his anger, and let it subside. He chased the other girls out and then he examined his skin. It was still red, and it irritated and stung like crazy.

"Listen, don't you ever be friends with that Fletcher girl, you hear me?" he scowled at Ivie. "Ever."

"How come?"

"She's bad news. See my skin?" Manfred stuck out his hand to show the redness. He cringed. "I need water to rinse over it." He hurried to the door and sent a firm look to Ivie. "Like I said, Fletcher did it."

"Why would she do that?"

Manfred hesitated before he glanced back at Ivie. "Looks can be deceiving."

"But she was nice to me.... she got me water and made me a bed out of your chairs..."

"Ch-chairs?" Manfred sputtered, finally noticing what Ivie was lying on. "Those are imported from China! You'll ruin them! Off, off! And she only did that to deceive you." he added scornfully. "Trying to get you to trust her. Don't believe anything she tells you."

He sighed and examined his chairs from China. "Great..." he muttered, pressing down on the cushion. "Now they're sat on....I didn't intend for people to sit on them, they were for show, that wretched Fletcher girl...."

"Sorry!" Ivie got off feeling guilty. "I didn't know."

Manfred sighed. "It's fine, it's fine. It's only you." Then he growled at his skin. "Now if you'll excuse me I have water to get."

"I'll get it!" Ivie wanted to make up for messing up Manfred's chairs and made a tub of water apear in front of Manfred.

"Thank you," Manfred sighed, dipping his arms into the water. Finally, something relieving. Manfred thought.

"You're welcome," Ivie sat on the floor since apearent;y the chairs weren't for sitting.

Manfred lifted his arms out of the tub of water and flexed his fingers and hands. They felt better, although they looked raw.

"Manfred? I don;t feel good.... I haven't felt good all morning...."

Manfred glanced at her. Side effects. He thought.

"You'll live. Don't worry," he muttered.

"But I don;t like it!" she complained.

Manfred massaged his forehead gently. If only he could dip his head inside the water but that would get water all over his floor. "If you're still alive, you'll be fine."

Ivie sighed.
"I guess so...."

"You better guess so." Manfred gruffed. Then he glanced to the door. The sun had rose and students were starting to come down for breakfast (since this all DID occur early in the morning). "Go eat. You must be starving."

Ivie nodded numbly and headed to breakfast.

I wish it would just go away.... she though with a sigh.

She got her food and sat as far away from anyone as possible.
