Bloor's Academy 3

Seraphyna hurried into the kicthens and avoided looking into the eyes of the workers there. She heard a few shouts as she grabbed a glass and ran water from the sink. She filled it half way, ran back out as quickly as she could without spilling anything and lifted the glass to Ivie's lips.

Ivie gulped down the water, it helped a little, the pain still burned but it surpressed a little.
"Th-thanks.... Serephyna?"

Seraphyan frowned. Something still didn't seem right. "How did you get so ill all of a sudden?" she asked, setting down the water on the ground.

"I... I don;t know.... when I woke up I got out of bed and I felt awful....."

"Do you remember what happened before? Tell me your entire day yesterday."

"Uh...." Ivie thought a moment. "I was thinking about Joshua.... I dont remember why.... and I asked someone about it and then Manfred asked for me and... um.... I went to homework...."

Seraphyna widened her eyes. Manfred asked for her? Then it must be true!

"Do you remember what Manfred told you?" she asked hurriedly.

Ivie shook her head.
"No... not really..."

Seraphyna was silent. Then she stood up, helped Ivie up, and murmured, "Let's pay Manfred Bloor a quick visit."

The remaining water in the glass on the ground sizzled as they walked away.

"Why?" she aske stumbling behind Sere.

"No reason." Seraphyna said. "I just wanted to say 'hi.' Maybe the others would like to join me as well...."

"Oh.... okay...." if Ive were thinking straight maybe she would have questioned this, as it was she was not and so she didn't.

The two made it back to Manfred's office and the other girls were still around. Manfred was now propped up sloppily on his chair behind his desk with his head tilted backwards. He was murmuring something Seraphyna didn't catch, but she knew he must still be puzzled else he would be shouting at the girls poking around his office.

"I... think I need to lay down now...." she hated to admit it but if she didn't she was afraid she would just feel worse.

Seraphyna and the others helped her down on a makeshift bed hey made in two minutes. It was nothing but a few chairs put side to side long enough for Ivie to lie on.

Ivie didn't care how uncomfortable a coupe of chairs could be, she layed down on the chairs anyway.
"Thanks...." she mumled before falling asleep.

((And now I shall attempt a Manfred... and fail miserably))

Manfred cam to his senses, what the hell were these girls all doing in his office?

"GET OUT! NOW!" he yelled.

Seraphyna's temper rose. How could he not see someone who's ill? Or maybe he did see, but he was just too...too Manfred-y to care.

She stepped up to him, placed a finger in his chest, and scowled, "Just how rude are you? Just how hostile are you really? You dare send a group of young ladies out there? You would send a sick person out there?" Her words became a shriek. She grew up learning how men should all be gentlemen, and being hostile to a lady was out of the question. Now Seraphyna knew that she wasn't back at home anymore, but still, even on normal standards, this was just too much.

"And you call yourself a man?" Seraphyna sneered. The air around the office seemed different. The air seemed humid, with a slight odor that wasn't bad, but it wasn't normal. Her skin tinged and pricked with a peculiar sensation.

She was turning the moisture in the air surrounding herself and Manfred into acid. She was left unharmed, Manfred, was not as lucky. The others only stared as they stood outside the range of the acidic air.

The acid burned his skin and throat.
"Stop it now, Mss Fletcher!" he shouted.

"What did you do to her?" Seraphyna's tone was soft, but firm. She felt alive. She felt exhilerated. She's never threatened anyone, but for some reason, taking charge felt...

She rose the pH to make the acidity more basic so Manfred would be alright, give or take.

"What did you do to Ivie?" Seraphyna repeated.

"It's none of your concern, get to class!"

Seraphyna lowered the pH and the acid in the air made Manfred's skin sizzle. It became red and blotchy, while hers remained the same.

"Stop it now, do you want detention for the rest of the year?"

"It doesn't matter if you keep me here forever." Seraphyna murmured. "My mother doesn't care. No one cares. That threat does not work on me sir. Let me ask you a question. Do you want me to burn you to the bone or answer my other question?"

"I hypnotized her," he muttered. "She was getting too curious!"

"Curious about what?" Seraphyna asked.
