Weekend Day One SATURDAY

"Yeah?" Jessie smiled.

Seraphyna pointed to the white chocolate frappaccino on the menu and gave Jessie an expecting look.

It took Jessie a moment to get what Sera wanted her to do but she figured it out "I'd like a white chocolate frappaccino, and an ah.." she considered this a moment "Salted Caramel Steamer."

Jessie paid and moved out of the way for the next person to order.

Seraphyna paid for her own and moved alongside Jessie to wait for their drinks

The drinks were handed to them and Jessie sat down sipping hers.

Seraphyna joined her, sitting on the opposite side of Jessie and she also took a sip. Tapping her fingers on the side of the cup, she watched as people passed their table, continuing their day without taking a look at her. It was relieveing to know that she didn't draw any attention.

Jessie smiled "See, no one is going to pay you any attention~ You'll be fine."

Seraphyna smiled sheepishly at her cup. She wasn't attracting any attention, and she was free from her mother. She made a new friend and they were currently sitting in the mall having a drink and a friendly chat.

Her smile faltered when she noticed the plastic of her cup melting a little, but she pushed the thought away when it didn't melt any further.

"Is something wrong?" Jessie asked.

(Woah hold on when you said you and your mom and aunt were going to shop did you mean Dallas Texas??)

Seraphyna shook her head vigorously.

((Yup, why?))

"You sure?"

(Cos.. thats where I live O-o)

Seraphyna wondered if her endowment would get in the way. She hadn't quite earned to control it carefully. Perhaps it responds to emotion? She'd have to watch out. "I'm fine, thank you."

((Oh lol, we could have met then. I live in Oklahoma City so it's a two hour drive."

"Alright," Jessie let it go, not pressing her any further. I think I'll grab a little something to eat while we're here.

"So...what do you want to eat?"

"I'll just get a muffin or something, are you hungry?"

Seraphyna wondered about that. Was she hungry? Well...she had eaten before Jessie had arrived, but then again, muffins did sound good. And had they walked by cookies? She could smell them from where they were at.

"Perhaps," she said, "I'll have a muffin and a few cookies."

Jessie went up to the counter and bought a muffin for each of them and some cookies for Sera.

Seraphyna, surprised, hastily said, "Ah, how much do I owe you?"

"It's fine, you don't have to," she handed Sera her things.

Seraphyna slowly accepted her things and stared at it. After a while, she glanced up at Jessie and gave her a small smile. "Thank you. I will make sure to repay you someday."

"No it's fine really," Jessie sat down and offered a small smile.

Seraphyna hesitantly stared at her cookies. Slowly, she glanced up at Jessie and smiled. "I see...thank you. Shall we go shopping now?"

"Sure~" Jessie grinned.

Seraphyna nodded and she bit into her cookie as she scanned the store names curiously. "Where to now?" she asked.
